This article is in AW's News & Information. Now the mentoring program, using Power Sellers as mentors, I understand pretty well.
The part I don't understand is that a software program is required to do the mentoring?
Also a software program that "manages" a reputation makes no sense at all to me. How does this work? Pursglove says that the "reputation" will be available for all to see. What's he talking about?
By the way, Ebay did solicit opinions from "15 to 20 Voices members".....so much for finding out how the entire community feels, huh?

Looks like they might give Keen.com a run for their money. Thanks for the laugh Jada!
15-20, yes, I'm sure they covered the concerns of their 16 million registered users.

Glad I gave you a chuckle Reddeer, but I'm still in the dark. I can't figure out how the "Reputation Manager" is supposed to work or any reason for having such.

It sounds a lot like the Gurus at Keen.com, except you'll have to have a "reputation".
No doubt eBay's figured out a way to bleed the new users for a few bucks, I guess the sellers aren't lining their pockets as well as they had expected?
