I'm sure this has been posted before, but due to more frequent "senior moments" than before, I would like to be refreshed on this topic. Would anyone time any auctions to end on Christmas Eve day or Christmas? Would this be futile? Would it be better to just skip those two days altogether and schedule to end the day after Christmas? Please let me know how you feel about timing auctions over the upcoming holiday. Thanks!

I just posted a 10 day auction last night which will end the day before Christmas.

It isn't looking too good. Last time I posted this exact same auction about two weeks ago, it ended with 127 bids, this time it has ONE bid after ONE day.

Judging from this experience, I wouldn't recommend posting auctions throughout this week.

Let's hope my auction gets at least a few more bids...it cost $129.15 JUST TO POST IT!!

I've posted my last auctions and may take a break until after Christmas. Heck maybe even till after the first. I just want to enjoy the holidays and let other people enjoy theirs.

I'm sure there will be a lot of people posting all though the holidays. If things don't sell just relist them later.

Not every one celebrates Christmas I am putting a few things up. On the whole though I am sure it will be a little slow

GOSH....that's tough...I hope you wind up getting lots more bids! So then you would just list auctions to end after Christmas? I posted 20 this evening to end next Friday, but I figured next Saturday and Sunday folks will be out last minute shopping and then Christmas won't even bother to get on their 'puters...think this is a pretty accurate forcast?

Well.....

I have auctions ending tonight and tomorrow night. It's not pretty. Several just ended and I'm actually wincing looking at the final bids. I did it because if I had held off, I would have *no* Christmas money so I figured some is better than none (assuming everyone pays!) but OUCH. I specifically ended mine on this day so that if a bidder wanted to they could pay and get it mailed in time for Christmas. I don't see how things will be much better until after Christmas, auction-wise, so I'm not listing a THING til then.

This is my worst batch of auctions ever!

I listed 5 auctions today, if they run all 10 days they will end christmas day. However, one has already ended with BIN after less than 4 hours
