Hey, maybe I have WAY too much time on my hands, but whenever I'm interested in something, I check the seller's feedback. I also check the feedback of all my bidders just to see if they have any negs, and why. My gripe is with these sellers who have people leave them negs and they in turn reply with the NASTIEST responses you can imagine. One seller called nearly every person who left them a neg a LIAR (in caps) which I found extremely offensive. I've also seen a lot of "idiot", "moron", "jerk", and "loser".
Personally, I don't care if the bidder DID lie, or not pay or whatever, I will not do business with someone who responds so unprofessionally to feedback. That would be like standing in line at the customer service counter and having the clerk call the customer in front of you a "big fat lying jerk!" because they weren't pleased with their purchase. Can you imagine? What do you all think about this?

I think there are a lot of people still in the world that haven't learned communication skills...this is how they react to all situations...and they probably would talk to people face-to-face like that as well. They rely on learned behavior.
funny though, they keep doing that same thing and probably keep getting the same thing in return, then complain about it.

I sometimes do the same, and one time I was on a German user feedback (a very bad profile, I might add, lots of negs) I went to the Alta vista/babel fish translator (where you can translate entire web pages) and one of the negs was translated on something like this: "I will gut you and eat your entrails"

You can say that again.
But then, with the language barrier, and if the offended user does not complain, they can get away with everything.

I dunno. If I'd received the "entrails" FB, I think I would've PMP laughing - and leave it to entertain those who could read it. I can't imagine that anybody would take it seriously!

I think that, if you aren't doing it already, you can save A LOT of time by using the web site vrane.com. They have a tool that lets you view only a person's negs or neutrals. Same with feedback left. It's very cool.
