I have listed on both. I have had more success with ebay yet so many people like yahoo for the listing fees. I am dismayed about the shipping hike and the cost to post on ebay. Not to mention the slow sales. I have just been puttering along basically. If you list alot on yahoo..is it new items? The antiques and collectables I sell don't do well at all on yahoo.

My humble experience with Yahoo is... If ya don't feature, FORGET IT! So, fortunately, they gave me a bunch of monopoly money to play with last month (I converted my eBay fb into feature-bucks) & I've sold a bunch of items at some pretty good prices!
If your item is not on that first page (preferably at the top) IT DON'T SELL!
Also, remember: DO NOT launch your auctions with photos if you use AW or Rover, etc! Launch the auction sans photo & then go to Yahoo & upload the photo there! That way, your photo will show in their "browse by photos" function!

My bids on yahoo are starting to pick back up now a bit but these sales have always moved slowly usually just one bid.
Yahoo is free listing and this is good for there additude list item and wait in time it will sell but you must wait some times a day sometime 2 or 4 months.
Yahoo and the other free sites are a great way to juggle inventory that has listed a few times without luck on ebay move it to yahoo or one of the other free auction sites to keep it in the Eyes of buyers but keep your listings looking freash you can list it free for a few weeks if it dont sell bring it back to ebay for a few.
Key to selling is the buyer for the item being there the same time you list so some harder to find buyers may only be out there every other month you listed on there off month or some situation of this type.
