HI all -
I know some here have purposefully stopped listing for the holidays. I didn't intend to, but I did the AW free listing day, and since then haven't listed a thing. When the 10-day auctions close tonight, I will have no auctions left up. What an odd feeling, the first time in many months.
Right now I'm waiting and holding back in case there is an eBay free listing day.
I wonder if it will be hard to get back into a routine!

I am one of the ones that stopped listing for the holidays and now am wondering if that was such a good idea. I have some really nice things that usually bring top prices and am afraid to list them now, because the bidders just do not seem to be too active. I haven't listed for 2 weeks and it sure feels strange!

Oh sure, I said I wasn't listing any more until after the holidays.. I actually went a couple of days with no auctions running. Then I thought.. well, just one or two won't hurt.. so I snuck 2 in. Then the next day it was 3... the next day 4. I'm up to 3 packs a day now! Right back where I started. I'm not getting any bids right now either, so maybe I'll just let these run out and.....
nah!
Edited so I could learn to type.

I never stopped listing Items but I thought bids would slow down since most my auction were ending so close to christmas but I am getting great bids this week they are slow in comeing but I am selling on both yahoo and ebay and the way its going this this is the anaversary of my frist year selling and its turning out to be my best week.
I have had as many sales in the last 7 days as I would have in single slow but fair month of selling and to think last week my auctions got no bids I was worried about listing more before the holidays were over thinking there was little hope of makeing enough to pay for the listings and FVF. http://www.Dman-N-Company.com

HI Dman - thanks for the positive note! Of course, a lot depends on what you are selling. I think I've gotten into the dumps because I had so many no-bids on a large batch of auctions I ran under AW's free listing day. Rationally, I didn't expect most of them to sell -it was an inventory clearing strategy. But still it was sobering to get so many no hits and low sales.
Free listings are so attractive and I'll keep doing them, but I think they play with my mind a little. I have to step back and remember how well I did all last year without free listing.
At least, I think I did well. I haven't filled out all my tax forms yet...

I relisted some items this week and all but one sold at 3 times the previous starting bid. I'm amazed at how well things are selling right now. I am still stuck with the one item I was sure would get the most bids.
