Man! The market is taking a nose dive today. How do you feel this will affect our sales? I know that just after Christmas is a slow time....
Any predictions or observations on the economic outlook?

I think the market has had a lot to do with low bids all this year and I think it will get worse before it gets better.
A lot of people thought they had more money than they could handle early in the year and so bid high and often.
With the market in the downward spiral still people have second thoughts about bidding on items.
I am being more selective in items I sell.I also quit selling full time and went back into sales and just list when I get the time.
Things will turn around eventually but I see for example ebaY stock trading below 10.00 in the near future.
I would not be suprised if they miss thier expected earnings for this quarter and if so then they and the tech sector will take another large hit.
So I see this being this way for at least another 6 months ands its very possible that we are heading for a recession.
But do not forget that even during the stock market crash in the 20's there where still people making millions so things will get better.
