Hi everyone--
Santa's elves have been very busy bringing you new and improved auction functionality this holiday season!
We've created a new and improved Winning Bidder Notification (WBN) e-mail that should help you close out auctions quicker and easier. When you use the Express WBN, your buyers receive a personalized html e-mail form that lets them select from your shipping and payment options without having to click through a link to bring them back to our site. Once the form is completed, this information is immediately available to you online.

As a buyer only, this still stinks. I don't want a third party web site to have my personal info. I don't care if I have to got to a site or you give me an email form. If the information goes into an online database, I don't want to use it.
I have auction software that generates all of the email automatically. (Auction Trakker, from TimberCreek. It reads all of the information off of the auction page and creates the email with subject and body including item number and description). I fill in shipping charge and sellers address. Done. It can generate everything else, so why do I need to do the sellers work, by entering my information?

P.S. I DON"T WANT TO BE REQUIRED TO ENTER MY PERSONAL INFORMATION ON A THIRD PARTY WEB SITE TO COMPLETE AN AUCTION!!!!!!!! (I also don't want sellers entering my information in the site either!) I hope that is clear enough.

Personally I love the new WBN Express format. As far as your complaint about not wanting your information posted on a third party site, I have heard of this before from few of my buyers. However I think AW has solve this already.
The new version sends in both html and plain text format containing shipping and payment information in the email. I believe this pretty much address the issue with buyer not wanting to post their information. They now have the option to just click reply and send their response back to me. To me I think this is best of both worlds.

Of course the last sentence of the anouncement states the the information is instantly aviable to you online.
After looking at the above referenced page, there is nothing about sending a text message back to the seller. You either get an html form that is sent to the online database or a text email with a link to the online form.

Please! Auctionwatch! NEVER change the "old Services! I prefer to deal one on one with my customers in a personal way! Each individual buying from me gets a personal note at EOA, and again when I ship. I do not list multi-items - just one special glass item at a time! There must be a place for us at AW? Thank you!
