I know that many people are getting randomly suspended from ExPath and that they have been just a mess the past couple weeks. Today I can't get into my account either, so I emailed and got a canned response that they need my credit card/billing info (which they already had). I sent it again via email, and heard nothing all day. I called them directly, and found out they have a new toll free customer service number. IT IS 1-877-890-4885 for anyone that needs it. But just HOPE you don't get the pathetic CS rep that answered my call. I had to ask her most of my questions twice because she wasn't listening, she was obviously doing something else. I asked why there have been so many suspensions, and she said because people were using fraudulent credit cards and it was "just terrible"! She said they were suspending EVEYRONE's account (which doesn't seem believeable to me, does it to you?) She told me all she could do is take a message. When I asked her (twice, the first time she just sat there, maybe painting her nails??) how long until my account would be reinstated, she said, "Um, ... two days??" This phone call did nothing to reassure me.
If anyone out there has had their account suspended and reinstated, please post. And how long did it take? Or if anyone has any idea what is really going on over there, I'd appreciate the info.
Gosh, I was really over Paypal, but this is downright scary. I just wish everyone would go back to money orders and checks.
