One of my auctions was close to closing when I received several emails from an overseas bidder (The Netherlands). They asked questions about the shipping charges. I responded with the costs, but the emails were sent back with the heading "Undeliverable mail" 550 Invalid recipient. Of course they just won and I can't get an email to them with my EOA notice. I even tried my Yahoo address and got the same message back. Their feedback has some that has been left as soon as yesterday. I am a little concerned they might leave a negative over non contact. Any ideas?

Can you request a phone number from ebay? Or maybe they changed their email address?

Contact one of the other sellers who left feedback & explain the situation. Ask them if they would contact the buyer for you & tell them you can't contact them.

If that doesn't work, try resending the email in a day or so. Sometimes some ISPs seem to get overloaded & bounce emails back.

If none of that works, contact Safeharbor & see if they can help.

it could also be that maybe their inbox is full.

one thing i like to do is look at the isp website. see if there is an email address for the head honcho there.

did you do a reply to or just type in the email address? if you typed it in, you may have misspelled it.

my hubby's family came from the Netherlands and the names there are not easy to spell sometimes.

Thanks to all who responded! I will try again tomorrow to get through. This is for a very low $ item and not worth a call to the Netherlands! Hopefully this is just intermittent ISP problems.
