With such short notice of a one free day listing on ebay, I was just wondering how many sellers missed it.

I got 400+ auctions in and I am very happy I was looking on these threads in plenty of time to get ready for it (actually 4 hours).

4 hours advanced notice was good enough for me to list my 400+ auctions and I have almost everything with the "BUY IT NOW" feature. I made almost $200 in sales right off the bat before FLD was even over !

Did any of you miss listing on Free listing day ?

I did. I had been sick for a week and didn't find out about it until last night. Where do they post when there is a free listing day?
Or, do they keep it a secret until the day?
Just wondering.

I did. Not enough notice. If I had just had one more day to get ready it would have great. I'm a little bummed. I knew about the other free listing days (the ones for other countries) a couple days ahead of time. But for the US sellers we only got a couple hours notice. Just not fair.

Just my opinion.....

They post it on their announcement board (which I never look at).

I found out about it here on the AW threads.

But when I did look at the announcement board I noticed the time. The posted 5 hours prior to starting. Not much time if you ask me, but OH WELL.

It's posted to the Announcement Board, traditionally, as I recall, 4-5 hours before it starts.

Are you listing lots of identical new widgets or something? I have to wonder how someone can list 400+ auctions in a day or less.

I sell old stuff, vintage collectible items mostly. I managed to get 15 items listed on the free day before I petered out.

Most of my items require a unique description and it's labor intensive.

Not identical, but something like that. I sell alot of hand made goods which although similar, are not identical, so I can list several at once. Plus they fit nicely in different categories too.
