Is it just me or is UPS ground faster than priority mail? I have 16 items out of 50 that were sent priority mail on the 14th and did not make their destination for Christmas. Every piece I sent UPS made it with time to spare. I cant even trace the 16 delayed packages which all had DC on their website. The items were shipped on the 14th too.
"There is no record of that mail item. If it was mailed recently, it may not yet be tracked. Please try again later."
posted on December 23, 2000 12:07:12 PM I don't want to worry you, but I have a letter that was mailed to me from a P.O. not more than 10 miles away.It was misdirected to Sri Lanka (no kidding,I have the envelope) and took over two months to find it's way tothe correct destination.

Personally, UPS has screwed up so many times that I have stopped using them. In over two years, I have just had my first USPS package get lost. Maybe it's the location and around me the PO hires the good workers and UPS hires the rejects. I had a UPS package going from NY to NY end up in Miami. Two packages picked up and the driver did not leave me the tracking number. 5 weeks later, they were delivered - to me. One laser printer sat on the UPS truck for 3 days because the driver forgot to unload it. I could continue but you get the drift.
