Well, is this a record? At least for the last two years?? I have never seen eBay down for so long. And I don't mean impared, or "experiencing performane issues"...I MEAN DEAD! Does this company take our business seriously, or is it a monopoly??
I'm sure the idea of a class action suit has been raised before, but what was the concensus of opinion?? Do we have a case?
Anti-trust? Fraud? Breech of contract? WHAT??
I have done well for myself there, as have many others, but I feel it's time they LISTENED to US, and no one else.
Note to eBay: IF IT AIN'T BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT!!, But it IS broken now, so GIT!

Ebay crashed a lot in 1999. After the 2 day fiasco in June 99, they promised to imprive things but the crashes continued. They seem to have done slightly better in 2000.

"Our work to restore availability of the eBay site continues. We will continue to regularly communicate with you until we have more information."
Wow, when you drop a Coke on a mainframe, all sorts of things can happen. They should really learn to be much more careful around their high priced computer stuff! <G>

gg99 ... Welcome to the computer age. Stuff happens. Take a deep breath. It may be an inconvenience, but it's not grounds for breach of contract, class-action lawsuits, or any other such nonsense. eBay is not down 95 percent of the time. You dig?
