I checked out some of the feedback on my current bidders last night. One high bidder had 2 recent negatives and a rating of 11. I decided to cancel this bid to avoid deadbeat hassles later. Then this morning the same bidder has bid again.
I do not have a disclaimer in this auction that says I reserve the right to cancel bids from users with negative feedback (I have just started adding those to newer auctions) and I did not email the user to inform him (I thought EBAY did that).
I didn't think a seller could bid again on the same item - suggestions? Am I in the right or wrong?

You are in the wrong, Ebay clearly states that when you cancel a bid that YOU email the bidder and ask them not to bid on your auctions along with the reason why.

You don't NEED A disclaimer to cancel someone's bid. It states in Ebay's policy that if a seller feels uncomfortable selling to someone you can cancel their bid.
If you really don't want them bidding, cancel their bid, and email them stating that you have cancelled their bid and don't want them bidding on your auctions again. CC a copy of that email to [email protected] and [email protected]. If they bid on your auctions again, contact [email protected] again and they will NARU him.

I have changed my disclaimers in all of my new auctions, emailed the bidder informing him what I am doing and why, cancelled the second bid and sent a copy to EBAY. Thanks for the help!
