According to the geeks at Yoo-hoo, one of the motives for this fee thing is to help reduce the "junk" postings and get it down to the serious stuff.
Why? Fee's haven't kept the junk and trinket posters from SWAMPING eBah?
Sound like just an excuse to me to make bucks, and a bad move to do it with. They should have started with just charging a percentage of the closing sale.
It is this type of mentality which has killed the herds of dot coms. Comp geeks with no apparent business savvy whatsoever.
