Sheesh, I've had it with auctions that seem to go on in words and such...and leave a small picture of the item.

One auction I was gonna bid on went on for 50 lines, going into gibberish and they had "meticulously" hidden the TOS inside of the text!! (Bye Bye bid....)

ARGH!! Look, I don't care about your finacial woes, your college booze money fund, nor the fact that you kept this item for a number of years and that your sorry to let it go. If you felt this way, WHY DID YOU POST THE ITEM IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!

If you want me to bid, cut the crap and show me the item!!

just a rant...

Then there's the other extreme:

You are bidding on a widget. Shipping is $5 US. Check or Money Order only. Happy Bidding!

"You are bidding on a widget. Shipping is $5 US. Check or Money Order only. Happy Bidding!"...

and of course don't forget the huge jpeg, 90% of which shows the seller's messy house with the auction item a small spot in the center.

Huge picture loading slowly -- bye bye any chance of me bidding.

You are bidding on widget. Buyer pays shipping.

We have to go on and on in hopes that someone will actually read and comprehend at least a portion of it.

One auction I clearly offered either Priority or First Class shipping, then I was told I needed to offer something cheaper than Priority.

People tend to skim, not actually read the description and TOS.

This causes lots of problems and endless questions. It gripes me!
