It is a gold Austrian 1 Ducat coin. Current value $30 to $35. (the value is low because it only contains .111 gold)

MrJim, thanks for the info...something that's been in the Safe Deposit box for a bunch of years and I thought it might be worth finding a new owner for!

Post these same pictures for your auction (if you sell) because they are very good!

The coin is also in nice condition which could get you the higher end of the range.
