It would appear, according to eBay, that it is now classed as Fee avoidance and Spamming if you sell to the High Bidder in a Reserve Price Auction when the Reserve has not been met.
Even funnier is the fact that, if you have a link to the auction from your own Website, (not even the other way around) you must ensure that anyone who wants to buy the item after the auction ends is not registered with eBay, otherwise it is Fee avoidance again!
I hope they have employed a LOT of new people to check up on that one.

ebay doesn't employ any people, they rely on other ebayers to rat on each other.
