I perused the other threads but haven't found an answer.

According to what I can figure out with the PO charts, a flat rate Priority envelope goes for the 2 lb rate of $3.95?

So if a buyer wants to mail me a payment using priority I should tell them to stick it in a box and it can go the 1 lb rate of $3.50?

Is this for both sizes of priority envelopes?

The post office's regular flate rate envelope is MARKED FLAT RATE and there is also a Priority WHITE envelope the same size WITHOUT the words FLAT RATE.
This one can be used for items that are under a pound at the 3.50 rate (above one pound at actual cost).
If you use the flat rate rate envelope it's 3.95.

I was at the post office yesterday and got some of the ones for the 1 pound rate. Not all post offices have them yet. You can also use your own for 1 pound rate you just can't use a flat rate envelope.
