I've got a problem that I'm not sure how to deal with. I have a bidder who won one of my auctions. I contacted him within 3 days with my EOA notice. Since then, I have received about 6 e-mails from him stating that he has received no e-mails from me and is wondering what is going on. After each e-mail, I respond to him with my EOA again. It is obvious that while I am receiving his e-mails, he is not receiving mine. Any suggestions?!?! I am worried that I am going to receive a negative feedback through no fault of my own! (he's already threatened it.) How can I contact him?!?! (and why do the difficult customers always happen with the $15 items?!) Please give me any advice on this subject. Thanks for your help!

A) Email from another location (ie yahoo.com).
B) Request bidder information through eBay and call your bidder.

You can try going to the auction listing page on eBaY and using the "Mail this auction to a friend" link.

Sorry if I sound like a suspicious, jaded new yorker, but could be he is pretending not to have received your emails cos he changed his mind... ??? (aka: Deadbeat??) Hmmmm. If he is legit, then please disregard this comment.

I have msn and, for some unknown reason, when I email certain types of addresses (like excite.com) it never gets there. So I have to go to my hotmail addr & sent it out and it seems to always arrive.
I have had customers that said they know other people who use msn that have that problem.

avmom & sharkbaby:
I've tried sending out through three different e-mail sites already... but, avmom, your idea of getting the Bidder information sounds good. Where do I go to get that?
Mrpotatoheadd:
Great idea with the mail to a friend... I just gave it a try... we'll see...
Nycrocker:
The thought has crossed my mind... of course..
but, I kinda think this one might be legit. He's obviously a newbie (5 FBR) and is probably just having problems with his e-mail.
Thanks for all these suggestions... keep posting away if you come up with any more ideas! I really appreciate all this help.

Actually I've also had the very same thing happen to me - had about 11 auctions to end one day (Whew!) - sent them all EOA e-mails. About half I heard back from - 2 e-mailed me requesting info. (they had not received MY e-mail TO them) and about 3 or 4 I had no response from. So anyway, I sent them the same e-mail (forwarded it to them) again - and one has responded! I thought it was just me! Maybe e-mail is getting as bad as the U.S.P.S. was(/)is over the Christmas Holidays!

eauction,
Try here .... the personal information will be mailed from eBay to both of you.
http://pages.ebay.com/search/members/user-query.html
I know because I've called and it opens up the line of communication again. Good luck!

are you replying back to his email or are you inserting his email address into the email?

Great News! I just got a response from the e-mail I sent out through the eBay "mail this auction to a friend" option! Thank you so much for suggesting this Mrpotatoheadd! I will have to remember this trick in the future. Thanks again to everyone else!
