Can Canadians use BidPay to pay for an auction? What is the best way for a US seller to take payment from someone in Canada?
I know this has all been covered here, but since I don't normally ship to Canada, I didn't pay attention in class.

BidPay is very good for international purchases! Easy & quick with no cost to the seller, but the buyer pays $5 per transaction.
Also, they can very easily purchase money orders in US dollars...Make sure it is US dollars, by the way.

Bidpay works fine anywhere in the world, but there are less expensive ways for Canadians to pay.
If you take Paypal or Billpoint, they accept Canadian users.
Canadian international postal money orders (in U.S. dollars) can be cashed at U.S. post offices.
Depending on your bank, you may be able to deposit international bank money orders and personal checks drawn on a U.S. dollar account with a CAnadian bank. (Usually these are payable through a U.S. affiliate bank.) But ask you bank first; some charge ridiculous fees for handling these. Some don't.
And there's always cash (wrapped well and sent at buyer's risk).
Whatever payment method is used, make sure it's in U.S. dollars.

I knew when I listed this one item that it might interest someone from Canada. They've got decent feedback and from their buying history I can tell they collect this theme. Now I have to see if they actually bid.
