I have reached my monthly limit of $100(btw I thought it was 600 every 6 months? When did it get changed to $100 a month?)...now I do NOT usually go over the limit..but with Christmas and the blitz and them NOT changing it on the 1st of Jan but on the 22 Jan (back to 0) then I'm in a fix.
If I go ahead and sign up...do I have to pay on transactions that don't total $100 for the month? Do I pay only after it exceeds the $100? Or do I always have to pay?
It is my understanding they don't have a fee when using from one PP account to another...is this right?

When you "upgrade" your account you will be charged for every transaction where you are sent payment...
Oh yeah, and even though they stated, when they were starting to charge, that it was due to increased costs associated with credit card transactions, they charge you even if someone sends pmt from their balance. This kinda ticked me off!

You'll have to pay for *every* transaction (not just those that total over $100/month). And they do charge fees even if the buyer is using money already in their account (i.e. not using a credit card).
This is from the PayPal website
-------------------------------------------
Here is a summary of the fees for business accounts:
Amount of Incoming Payment
under $15 $15-500 over $500
Credit Card payments 30¢ 2.2%+30¢ 2.2%+30¢
Bank Account Payments 30¢ 1.6%+30¢ $5.00
PayPal Balance Payments 30¢ 1.6%+30¢ $5.00
The above fees will also apply to international payments made to Premier and Business accounts.

Well...I guess I'll NOT accept PP anymore til the 22nd because I don't think it's right to charge like they are.
So whatelse is good? A lot of my sales don't even have that much profit in them after you pay ebay...then PP..then shipping supplies...Sometimes I sell things for $2!

If you exceed your limit of the $100 for the month I realize you can't get your money out unless you upgrade.
But, can you just let the money lay there until the new month and will you finally be able to get it out then?

NOPE ... you have to REJECT the payment or UPGRADE to get it.
