After waiting 10 days for my widget to arrive, I check my seller's FB file. In the last two weeks he has received approx 13 negs for no communication and not shipping. I emailed my seller and waited three days. I then contacted other bidders on closed auctions (not pending ones) to see who has and who has not received their items. I wrote to ebay and to paypal. Paypal sent me the same canned response (three times) of things for me to do even though I had done each one already. Ebay was no help. Finally pulled contact info and called seller. Left message on phone telling seller, nicely, that we bidders were in contact with each other and were preparing to file fraud charges, and chargebacks, etc.
Then this morning most of us bidders get an email from our seller saying that he had been in and out of the hospital for a month (during which time he was regularily starting new auctions) and today was the first time he could drag himself out of bed to check his email. He says he had a "friend" who was starting his auctions for him.
I emailed back saying that if his friend had access to his ebay account to start auctions, that same friend should have emailed his bidders on closed auctions.
After all, the old bidders should have priority over new bidders because the old bidders (through the FB system) determine if he will have any new bidders. I know if I had looked past his FB number of 485 to see 13 negs in the past two weeks, I would not have bid.
Not my name on ebay.
