I have found a supplier for chocolate dog poop and chocolate cat poop. This stuff looks like the REAL THING! And, it tastes great! The chocolate dog poop comes on green coconut grass and the cat poop comes nestled in candy kitty litter. The product may sound a little gross (which it is supposed to), but I think it has great potential as an edible gag gift. What do you think? The possibilities are endless (giving it to someone who broke up with you, playing a trick and someone by picking it up and taking a bite, etc. etc.
Please give me your opinion, as I respect the opinion of you all. Please, no mean spirited remarks, as I am only testing the waters with what you all think. I really do want to know your opinion. A seller? or a dud? Please post as soon as you can. God bless, evan11

If kids were allowed to buy, this might fly. As far as adults, I have my doubts.

My first thoughts, after getting past what this looks like, and I agree that it is more of a kids item, is weather! This reminds me of candles and other candy. Will you be able to ship this in the summer, or to a very warm climate without it melting? Remember it could be in transir for hours if not days, sitting in a hot truck in the sun.
Food for thought, no pun intended.

I was thinking more in line of only shipping it around the cold winter months. December through March or whatever. I have never sold chocolate before, so I guess some trial and error might be involved.I thought it was unique and great for a laugh. I know that dogdoo.com does a 6 figure income yearly shipping out the real thing. Why? I don't know. I guess it's a big world and there are some strange people out there. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I do appreciate it.evan11

You can get the same effect by smoking a cigar.

There are entire stores who do quite well selling chocolates in the shape of certain anatomical parts. I see no reason why chocolate feces wouldn't appeal to the same market.

Thanks all for the comments. As they say, "two heads are beter than one." I think I may try a few of these out in the weird section. I put one on the table at my parents place today. My dad couldn't sop laughing. My mother almost swatted the dog with a newspaper, and the dog didn't think it was funny at all.
Anyway, I'll see how it goes. Thanks again.

I think spencer's (sp?)(at most malls here is the east coast) and other like stores and gag stores have beat you to it years ago. I don't see to many people buying it and paying P & H when stuff like that is easily accesible in gag stores.

Have you seen the Snowman Poop they have out? Someone gave a little package to my Dad for Christmas as a gag gift. Basically it's chocolate marshmallows in a little plastic baggy with a blue header that has a bouncing snowman and says "Snowman Poop."

I have spent a lifetime surrounded by engineers and scientists and you may want to try marketing it to them as well.... They're great people and smart, but for whatever reason they seem to be the zanny ones who would appreciate chocolate poop...

Yet another reason why I went to law school!
Sid.

Tracey, thanks for the heads up about Spencer. I have never seen this stuff there, but I'll have to dig a little deeper to see if I can get it there.....(no pun intended.) You folks are very funny with the names and all. I'll keep those in mind if I ever need to promote myself for this stuff.
God bless, evan11

People buy canned toots, woopie cushions, and chia pets, no reason they wouldnt buy candy poop.
