I need advise from the pros out there. An auction closed recently, and eBay sent me the e-mail of the winner. I sent them my WBN. I got this message: Undeliverable Message: ? EMDNRM - Mail Delivery Failure. No room in
mailbox. So I waited a few days, sent other WBN, and presto, got the same message back.
My question is this, how do I contact this person. I can use the feedback forum, but if this ends up a No contact, no payment situation, I would lose my feedback oppurtunity. Is there any way I can get hold of this bidder.

Pull their contact info---ebay will send them a message that you have pulled it (if that doesn't bounce) and you have their phone # (if it is correct) to contact them
Basically, all your pertinent information and the buyers information will be exchanged via email to both locations by eBay. Therefore, you can easily contact your buyer via the telephone and have a personal contact and notify your buyer.

I know if eBay finds out a user's registered email bounces, they get suspended until they contact eBay and update it.
Does anyone know if you pull the contact info and the email that is supposed to go to the bidder bounces back to eBay, will they suspend the user based on that, or do you have to tell eBay, who then emails the user in question specifically to test it.
Chances are, it would be a long distance call to phone a bidder, so I would do it only for a high dollar item.
Any responsible user would update their email address, or at least email the seller to warn them, or check the outcome of the auction, to see if they won.

The error message you received seems to indicate that the buyers mail server is unable to deliver any more mail to the user. There are a couple of explanations that could explain this:
1) The user has not cleaned out his/her mailbox lately and he/she is unaware of the problem.
2) Another possibility is that the buyer's email server is experiencing problems which are beyond the buyer's control.
In the past 48 hours I was unable to access 3 of my 5 email addresses for a period exceeding 24 hours due to problems with the email server.
You might try writing to the postmaster at the mailserver (postmaster@*.com or whatever the buyer's email address is) and explain the problem to them. It may take a day or two to get a response, if you get even get one, but it's another possibility...

"Undeliverable Message: ? EMDNRM - Mail Delivery Failure. No room in mailbox"
Their address is valid, but the mailbox is too full to get more. This MIGHT be a problem at the server, or they MIGHT be getting mailbombed, or they might just not have cleaned out the spam recently. Or they might have decided to not use that anymore and you are getting stiffed.
Doing the contact info request is a good idea, EXCEPT that they will NOT get the email notice.
