If ebay sellers want to get higher bids for their merchandise, is that greed as well?
If I were an ebay stockholder, I would certainly hope they would do their best to maximize profit. To not do so would be irresponsible.

By the way, no matter which side of the fence you're on, you've got to give eBay credit for pulling this off ... especially when most "dot-coms" are floundering. I'd like to think that I am in some small way associated with their success.

While I applaud eBay for running a good company, 82% reported profit margin shouldn't require a hike in seller fees. Look for them to make even more money in the future.

ABSOLUTELY, twinsoft....if eBay is, as they constantly profess, just a venue...the success belongs to US....the "sellers" who continue to discover treasures, to list, to sell responsibly, along with their essential counterparts, the "buyers" who continue to buy, trusting that the majority of the "sellers" are there to do "the right thing".....
