I keep reading posts that regard the increased fees as having a negative effect for sellers. Being a person who wears rose colored glasses most of the time, I tried to come up with positive effects.
For sellers that sell low priced items it is an opportunity to lot more items. Why write three ads for kids shirts that would sell for $3.00 each when you could lot three for $9.00.
Advantage to Seller:
(1) Less time spent writing ads. (2) 1 listing fee instead of 3. (3) One package to mail instead of 3.
Advantage to Buyer:
(1)One shipping charge to pay.
It is the buyer that will ultimately pay for the increased costs. One does not stay in business if you can not pass the costs of selling to the buyer.

I'm seeing things as Margaret too. I plan to sell more "lots". Sales have been slow lately for me anyway, so I'm also feeling like cutting way back on my auctions... Maybe I'm just tired.

I aditude is good but I sell low cost Items I Have been trying to lot togeather Items for a month and a half its Not working.
Items I sell go for $2.75 each min start bid to $4.50 each when I lot like Item togeather 5 or 6 in a lot for $7.00 to $10.00 I list on Ebay and get good veiws but no bids with two relists.
So I take new pictures single listing each for $3 to $5 I get bids in the frist three days of listing on the Items Not only do I make more money but the sell rate is 99% better.
The Nickle and dime incress in listing fees will not hurt as long as I get the Bid when I list and I cant seem to get the bids on lots. http://www.Dman-N-Company.com
