Anyone have problems with small items(in bubble envelopes)being lost??
I have had 3 items get "lost" this month(and one of them was two envelopes taped together--pretty full). It always seems to be jewelry that gets lost. I just got a neutral feedback for this.
.......Thanks postal service!!!

In my experience, those small bubble envelopes are pretty vulnerable to theft and damage. I sell a lot of fine jewelry and always use a box, such as the priority box.

Delivery confirmations are not allowed on first class pieces(or so I'm told by the p.o). I always ship jewelry first class so it is cheaper on the buyer.

Maybe it's time to require the buyer to pay for insurance. Build it into your shipping--"Shipping will be $xx, insurance included." If you've had 3 missing packages in one month, selling will be anxiety ridden for you wondering if the package will arrive.

Most people won't mind paying a little extra to get the product. Whenever I have bought jewelry it has always come in a regular box and insured.
