Interesting. They have now erased all but their last announcement about this outage. How long have they been doing that?
I believe that they have been doing that on a regular basis. After the outage is over all those other announcements are just history. Besides, they wouldn’t want to detract from all the other stuff on the AB:
*** Introducing eBay Premier: A Marketplace for the Art World ***
***Invitation to eBay-hosted "Bidding Basics" Workshop***
*** Buy It Now ***
*** Invitation to eBay-hosted "Getting Help on eBay" Workshop ***
***Fee Changes***
***Fee Changes on eBay Canada***
*** Quarterly Letter from Meg ***
*** Buy It Now *** (Bug)
*** CELEBRATING VALENTINE'S DAY AT EBAY ***
*** ATTEND EBAY UNIVERSITY ***
*** Category Updates are Here! ***
***Invitation to eBay-hosted "Browsing Tips & Techniques" Workshop***
Too many *** SYSTEM STATUS *** posts amongst all this would just look bad, ya’ know?

The announcement makes it seem like everything is back up and running A-1. However, as of 9:10 a.m. on the East Coast you still cannot access any Seller Search or My Ebay pages.
