YES I have been having huge problems. All last week as I tried to load auctions they would "act" as if they didn't "go." Then I would try again. When I would then go to the control panel, the same auction would show up numerous times and I would have to go back through the duplicates and "undo" the auctions. This past Sunday, Jan. 21 I had 60 auctions ready to go online Sunday night (early). When I checked this morning, Monday, Jan. 22, only 23 of them have gone. Auctionwatch has been down all day so I can't even check to see if they are still there so I can launch them another time. It is very frustrating. Also, are there times when you find Auctionwatch EXTREMELY slow when other sites are not (so you know it isn't just your connection)? Although I really like auctionwatch, I am about ready to seek an alternative because this really is affecting my ability to make any money doing this. Please let me know if this is the same kind of experience you are having. Nanete

They've been mostly down since the 19th. The announcements are in the AW services forum.

Any clues to how long this will last?

I can manually list through ebay, I just prefer not to.

OhioStar ~ if they don't fix what is "busted" I will be "busted"

If I list directly through eBay, how do I get a picture there?

Also, has anyone tried to download and use "Auctionsubmit". I LOVE IT but haven't been able to figure out how to upload pictures there yet.

Sure hope this isn't a sign that AW is in some kind of trouble, financial or otherwise. First they drop email, then they drop appraisals, and now we can't post auctions for almost 24 hours. Say it ain't so, AW!

Hello Everyone,

You can get updates in the Services forum or by checking the Announcements Board.

Please remember promoting other sites through clickable links is against the CG's.

Hey Joice,

Can you give us some kind of time frame of when this will be fixed. I have some WBN's that need to be sent out from yesterdays auctions. I can wait a day or so but if its going to be longer than that then I will need to just contact my buyers.

Thanks

OK, folks here is what we have been looking for. Just around the corner we will all be notified that in order to maintain their servers properly, we(meaning us) will have to start paying a fee to insure minimal downtime. I hope not but you cant expect it to be free forever, someone has to pay the personnel and the service techs.

Ohiostar.....AW makes listing so easy compared to eBay, plus can use so many pictures! You mentioned (GoTo)and (Honesty).
Do you find them easy like AW and free?

I think everyone that lists on eBay with a web based service should be registered at more than one site. I prefer AW, but at times like this I list through GOTO.

Hopefully the banner ads will provide enough revenue for AW to keep the service free to us. I LOVE the site, and for one appreciate it. Lord knows ebay has "down times", and we pay a hefty fee to list there. It might be helpful if we users supported AW by clicking on these banner ads once in a while. Here's hoping the site's back up soon

Still down this morning with no update on the announcement board since 1/22 at noon. This is not good. I have used Honesty, but, have you noticed how slooooow the pictures come up on eBay? I have a very fast connection at work and still, the pictures are a slow as molasses. I certainly hope that AW doesn't start charging, what with eBay's increase in listing fees, the outrageous increases by the US Postal Service in Priority Rates as well as fees now by PayPal - it is going to start to be prohibitive to do business. I will be irked if AW goes down forever as ALL of my pictures are loaded there and I have no way to retrieve them back. (I delete them from my hard drive as soon as I upload them to AW)
Phew, scary thought. I too cannot figure out how to load pictures on eBay directly, but, if this keeps up for much longer, I am going to have to!!! We haven't been able to list for two days. I had a whole load of stuff ready to go Sunday and lost it all. Bad news.

If you are lurking out there, please try to find out a time frame for us! We love AW and would hate to have to go someplace else! Communication, please!
Thanks!
