Sorry about the poor image, however does anyone know if this is a Volunteer Rifles of Canada badge? It is blackened metal (appears to have a yellow metal plating on copper) with cotter pin at back. Your help is appreciated.

Hi genie9: This is just a guess, so I hope someone else can post some useable info here for you.

I don't think this is a VRC badge. It looks to me to be a monogram lapel pin for a lady's coat. Is is silver? Do you have any idea of the age?

At least this will boost you back up to the top so hopefully someone more knowledgeable will reply.

I tend to agree with genie. My mother's name was Florence Rose Cannon and she had a coat pin very, very similar to this one F R C. NOT SILVER, SOME SORT OF HEAVY METAL.
