A couple of weeks ago I started a fitness regimen which I am proud to say I have been sticking too and am getting more into as well. I recently found out that there is magazine on the market based on this exercise. While doing a search I didnt see any listed (except subscriptions) but did see in completed auctions someone had listed some that ended with no bids.
Now my question is this, am I allowed to e-mail the seller and ask if she would put them back up for auction? I mean, is that against the rules? I am not asking to buy them off e-Bay but asking her to re-list them so I can bid on them.
I wanna be sure before I ask. You never know with these rules anymore

i don't think this is against the rules. it certainly leaves it open for the seller to either offer them to you or to put them back up. if you do email, ask the seller to send you the auction or auction number so you can find them sooner!

Hi kiki2,
I've contacted sellers about a closed sale that did not sell on ebay and bought the item without the seller reposting on ebay. The way "I" see it is the sale is closed, ebay was paid the posting fees and the contract between ebay and the seller has effectively ended with no bids. Now of course if you contacted the seller during an open auction to see if they would end the auction early so that you could buy the item then...that would not be right. I only bring that up because, as a seller, I've had that happened to me.

I can't imagine it would be against Ebay's rules. As long as they get their fees it shouldn't matter. You can ask them to put it up with a BIN price, so you can buy it immediately.
