When trying to list directly from Ebay, once i've typed in the info on the description page i go to the bottom ahd hit continue. The next thing I see is either a blank page or "this page cannot be displayed". I've gone so far as to change browsers, replaced my modem. I have no problems listing with auction watch though. Also, when I hit refresh or detect network settings i just get a repeat. Any thoughts? (so you know, i'm not exactly an amateur at this, i've been listing for about 2 years).

That happens to me too - it's not your computer. It happens when I try to list or Re-list through ebay using Internet Explorer. When I try it through Netscape I never have a problem... which browser are you using?

Zclone - I think your problem is Explorer - try using Netscape - and you'll probably never have a problem... (if you don't have it you can download it for free at www.netscape.com)

I was having the same problem yesterday and this morning, tried everything but nothing worked, My husband had to uninstall the DSL Modem and then reinstall it. After he did that it worked just fine.

I have always had the same problem when trying to relist and both Ebay and Auctionwatch would say it was the other person. I finally gave up - but now I know - try Netscape!! Maybe I will. Thanks everyone - I needed this info too!!

I have the same trouble with IE 5. If I am going to relist something directly from within eBay, I use Netscape and it works fine.

I used to have this problem quite frequently off and on, sometimes more on than off, unfortunately. The last time it happened to me, eBay had just added BIN to the form.
Well, I discovered something strange. The more HTML in my description, the more problems I had. I used to save my descriptions in Word as a web page, view the HTML source code, then paste that code in the description box. Word generates an awful lot of code, much more than using basic HTML! So I now use basic HTML in Word, just save it as a regular document, and cut and paste the entire document into the description box on the form. I get the same appearance in my ads without having all that extraneous code causing problems.
That is also the reason I don't use all the payment logos anymore. I had an extra long ad once and was having trouble submitting it. Well, the only "extra" code now was the payments logos, so I replaced the logos with some text instead and it went through without a problem.
So, I say, the more code the more trouble you have.
