I have (inadvertantly!) accumalated a number of glass cup/candle holders which fit into sconces. Seems that they should be desirable as replacements, but I can't find any listed on eBay.
I have searched a number of different ways, and come up with zilch!
I don't want to list them until I know what people may be looking for them as.

If you look for Votive Cup, you'll find some like you describe. Votive Cup is the words that Home Interior uses for the cups with the pegs.
There does seem to be a broad area that fits under that term when you search. If yours have the rubber piece for the peg or tip, mention that as I saw it in a few auctions as well. I used the words Votive Cup in my search, no "s" on the end.
I sold some of these last year and did pretty good on them.

Thanks, Meya. I did try that, but it brought up all the ones with sconces too, but I don't see any other way to go.
I'm sure you know that if you type "cup*", it will bring up 'cup' and 'cups' both.
