Recently and yet again, ebay had 're-set' many Notification Preferneces of some Users. this is third time for me so this time we wrote 'em down when we changed them again on Feb. 1
Got an email on 1 of our dormant Ebay accounts today, letting us know that they were changed as there was a 'bug' in the prefs of Users registering in August 2000.
To quote a favorite TV judge of mine; 'Quit dancing me around and giving me the dipsy-doodle!"
I had re-set these prefs, on all 3 IDs on Feb. 1. Not only did they chamge the one in the subject of the email, but out other 2 accounts as well.
How do I know? Well since our prefs have been changed for us by Ebay at least twice, I wrote down the date and what we cha ged them to. The other 2 ID's were changed as well.
So....go check YOUR prefs.....write down your choices....and check them monthly. It is MHO that they need high #'s to justify their ad rates and what they can charge for the spam lists that they compile and sell.
