I've moved money from my account to my bank and I've never seen a fee for the transfer. I've use PayPal to relay money from one bank to another and I've never seen a fee at any end on those transactions either.
If there is a fee for PayPal to bank or bank to PayPal transfers it's news to me.

I hope it's not true. There is a seller on Ebay saying he doesn't take PayPal for that reason but I couldn't verify it.

Let me put it this way. I moved $1,900.00 from my bank to PayPal and then I transferred it from PayPal to another bank. If there was a fee for such a transfer I'd have simply written a check off one bank and mailed my deposit to the the new bank. I used PayPal because I didn't have to write a check and fill out a deposit slip and mail the deposit. My funds were available quicker and I saved the price of a stamp... there were no fees.
If your bank charges for ACH transfers that's another matter. I wouldn't use a bank that charged for ACH transfers.

I think the fee that everyone is referring to is to "auto sweep" funds to your account everyday. There is a fee for that, although I don't remember how much.
I stopped excepting paypal as well because of there fees. Yahoo! PayDirect is still free. If a customer insist on using PayPal, I give them the option of paying the fees. Most opt to use another solution.
Thanks
