I put counters on all of my auctions but I use the invisible counters. I use it to gauge interest, especially if I need to relist. As a buyer I don't really pay attention to the counters I see on an auction.

For those of you who use them, either as a buyer or seller, could you please enlighten me as to the value of the counter? Thanks.

On some of the counter providing sites, like Honesty, there are features so you can check the visits on your auctions by the hour. It is very helpful in knowing which are the best times to schedule them to end.

I use them as a seller for the same thing you do. As a buyer I use them to gage the interest in the item it gives me an idea of what it will go for and when to start bidding, early or late.
