I found something new on eBay, How do we alert our buyers?
I was checking my "PERSONAL GALLERY" to see if my newly listed stuff was indexed to that yet.
Sure enough all my new items listed were there. 1 point for eBay.
I also noticed at the bottom of the page it says "save this search" so I clicked it.
Sure enough it showed up on "MY EBAY" page under favorites, also a box you can click to get e-mail if new things are added.
Hey, thats pretty cool! How can we get the word out to our "buyers" to do this?
It would sure beat bookmarking and checking back from time to time....as I think we all have a tendency to forget.
This could be a big PLUS for us that use the "PERSONAL GALLERY" or you could make a simular link in your ad that can take you to your "PERSONAL LISTED" items.
So what do we need to do to alert the buyers to this NEW feature?

To make a personal gallery you have to have a keyword in your title or description but the title works best, then do a search for the keyword and click on the gallery tab, then copy the address in the address bar and create a link in your auctions. The save this search has been there for a while now with the email facility. If you do have a link for it the buyer will have to provide their user name and password when prompted by ebay. Hope this wasn't too confusing
Forgot to mention you have to pay the gallery listing fee for each auction

A few months back, eBay had a survey about my eBay. One of the options they mentioned as a possible future addition would be a new entry under Favorites: Favorite Sellers
