Is that OK? Or should I report this seller to Ebays? I was selling a rare DVD and this seller steals my title and my description word to word for the VHS version of the film, but he also included a feature that was in my description that only the DVD has! And he is selling a VHS of it! I know I cant post a link to my auction or the other sellers, but do you think I should report to ebay? I would feel sorry for the bidder when they realize VHS tapes cant to what DVD can. Plus it is upsetting someone would want to steal your description word to word. Any advice would help. thanks!

I would politely email the seller before doing anything else, including contacting eBay. Are they a new seller? Give them the benefit of the doubt and email them, ask them to revise their auction description if it doesn't have bids on it.

If you report him to eBay, make sure you provide an older auction # to prove he is copying you. They will cancel his auction. Do it whether he's got bids or not.

I know two people that this happened to. Each time they wrote the seller and received no response so they contacted ebay and the auctions were pulled and the sellers were warned. It's amazing that people will do that. Some will also steal your pics & use them. That's why it's a good idea to put some script on your pic. I'd like to find out how to do that.
