I had a nice doll listed, and a person emails me saying condition is important and wanted to know if there's any creases or dings on the box.I used to be a professional card grader so I know how to look for the smallest imperfections. I mentioned that the ridge by the window was bent up, there were no creases, and the corners were soft. I even sent a pic to the person to let them decide if it was acceptable. He said he saw a crease on the bottom and would buy it anyway (BIN auction). Let me note there was no crease and looking at the pic I sent to him I can't see what he was talking about.Anyway, he didn't want to pay much for shipping so I gave him the handling free and he said thats good. I still packaged the item well like all my items. He gets the item and sends me an email saying he doesn't like the condition. He says it won't display well. He mentions the ridge by the window (which I told him about), and he says there's a crease from the bottom up and dings all over the place, and says in no way this could happen during delivery. That's the second time he mentioned that crease, and I have to say I don't buy toys with creases. Everything I sell is near perfect or perfect including my vintage items, so the item he is describing back to me sounds bogus.Well, I bought this doll below wholesale and sold it to him wholesale so he got a bargain, but he says its overpriced and he doesn't want to neg me and wants me to respond to him and resolve this matter.Since I sold it to him wholesale I can't offer him retail service and accept a return or exchange. Plus I accurately described the item and sent him a pic which he found acceptable. I truly don't want his business again, even though I offered him $2 off his next purchase which I know he won't take me up on. Why does he buy an item when condition is important to him and knows about the ridge, and about the illusionary crease, then complains it's not acceptable? You think I should neg him? I don't have any negative energy aga

Hi -

Well, I guess the question is, even though he is being a thorn in your side, did he pay promptly and what was agreed upon? If so, definitely not a negative. Since you are dissatisfied with the whole transaction, there's 3 options: nuetral, positive, or no feedback at all.

I wouldn't leave feedback at all until he left his. He doesn't deserve a neg but he may not leave you one if you wait. And even if he does leave you a neg feedback, you can respond with the truth.

I had a buyer who saw all the damage to the item, I described all the damage to the item. He thought he was getting a $300.00 item for $70.00 and when he found out that what he saw was what he got, he was upset.

If you described it correctly and he still bought it, that's his loss. It may not even be your item he is complaining about. Maybe switcheroo.

The imaginary crease raises the question of whether he was trying to upgrade one he had and is now trying to return a different one than you sold him

Sounds like he wants to switch one of his old, creased, dinged-up items for yours that he bought.
