Just sending love, and light, and caring on this romantic day! If you are alone and didn't get acknowledged as the special person you are today---now you have!

I hate Valentines Day.

Sorry for the cynicism (sp).

But I hate Valentines Day.

Sad Valentine's Day for me... I'm at work, going on 16 hours straight...

libbyparsons Why?

Ok, forget the Valentines part--just accept the love, light, and caring and know you are special---whatever your likes or dislikes.

16 hours=bigger pay check=happy
Maybe you can make up for it on your days off.

sharkbaby--thanks, I accept!

Well..it's just the whole idea of the Day. If I had someone who could celebrate it with me it would be different but I dont and I hate the constant reminder all day long, on TV, online, in the stores, everywhere. I just hate it.

I live in Wisconsin. We have a town named after you, SYMCO. Ever heard of it? It's one of those real small/don't blink you'll miss it places.

Thanks for the Valentine's Wishes, you tried!

Oh, libbyparsons, now I get it. You hate the day, but would love it with the right person. My unasked for advice: put a smile on your face, go treat yourself to a wonderful dinner, buy yourself the prettiest heart shaped box of candy you can afford, do something fun that you would like to do with the 'right' one, and maybe that right one will be there doing the same. If not, go home to a candle lit bubble bath, eat your candy, and try again next time!

Haven't heard of Symco. I've been to Wis. several times--it's a beautiful state.

If it's any consolation--I'm working too, but at home and can quit any time, just no salary to go along with it!
