I used Billpoint for the first time today. I used it as a buyer and paid for an auction with it. I researched it first and it is supposed to be FREE to the buyer. I used my PayPal debit card as the card to charge for the purchase.
I loved the ease of it so I decided to use add the feature to the 6 auctions i listed today.
Well, when I went to my PayPal account tonight my log shows 2 seperate withdrawls. One for the amount of the purchase I made. And then, also today, just after the purchase, a pending withdrawl of $1. What is the $1 for? It was supposed to be free.

I imagine BillPoint made the $1.00 charge to verify the card. Doesn't the $1.00 show as pending?
I put my PayPal/MasterCard as my card on file for my eBay account. They did the same thing, they issued a $1.00 charge against the card to verify it. Give it a day or two and the charge will be removed, it is only for verification purposes.
