I was hoping that completed item search would be back up, but no such luck.

But hey, eBay is still #1 in customer service! They said so themselves!

The bidders are definitely still out there--several of my ending in an hour items jumped way up once the system came back up.

C'mon Ebay, just 1 1/2 hours---all I need.

What I am experiencing is that I can search and look at items, but I can't access my "My eBay" page...I would rather it was that way, though, than to have people not be able to look at items.

My eBay is down for the count. But i was able to get to it by going to the UK site. I copy and pasted the number for the one auction I am bidding on that closes soon in to the US eBay search and got to the page. I didn't try any bidding though so I don't know if that is working.

Can you view others sellers lists through that way? If so what is the URL to access?

Ebay's Canadian website/search works (www.ebay.ca)...doesn't help if the bidders can't use it/don't know where it is though...

Anyone else having trouble getting access to My Ebay? The site is supposedly back up but I can't get to my list of auctions.

Okay I got to the search list I wanted, now if I want to bid a Buy It Now how do I do it? The option is there at the top but not at the bottom. This is so stupid!

Afraid Not!!!!

I can't get in!!! Get the dreaded connection reset by peer error message. Looks like eBay jumped the gun on their announcement board message.

*** SYSTEM STATUS ***

The eBay system became unavailable at 18:29 PST due to a hardware failure on our primary
database. We switched over to our backup system as quickly and safely as possible, and the site once again became accessible at 18:56 PST.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

Regards,
eBay

I still cannot get to "MY EBAY" or a certain seller's list unless I go to the ebay.ca site.

Seller search is still down and it hasn't been working right for about 3 days. Does anyone ever remember a time when the ENTIRE site was working at the same time? I don't and I've been here since June of 1999.

The site is staying up for 5 minutes at most each time before it crashes again--must've bene up and down a half dozen times in the past 1/2 hour.

I can't get a seller search at 11:00 PM EST
I was having trouble from about 3:06 to 3:40
but eBay swore it was OK and told me - as usual - to clear my cache. They think that a full cache causes warts and piles also.
