Just went to look at the My eBay page for my auctions...the ones in this category are coming up "ended", with a line saying the category is unavailable. Anyone else having this problem, or do I just need more coffee?

The shost answer: You don't need more coffee. Ebay is up their shenanigans again, and on a Sunday as usual. Thanks a bunch, Ebay.

I'm having the same problem. Can't pull up the individual auctions, either. If they really are closed, I'm gonna be ticked...

Are we going to lose bids and all? It looks like we lost listing fees and all huh. Well all that hard work down the drain.

I've really had it with EBay's shabby ass system! I'm going to have to add wording to all of my ads to the effect that I reserve the right to rescind any auction that I feel was adversely affected by EBay's pathetic system reliability.
Have any of you done this, and have you had any complaints from EBay or from customers? If you use this kind of disclaimer, have ever actually followed through with it?

Don't know of anyone using the disclaimer, but if the auction ends with a high bidder you are obligated to sell to that bidder in the same way that a buyer is obligated to pay for their purchase. Of course ebay can't come to your house and make you ship the item but the winning bidders would be within their rights to leave you some pretty nasty negs. Start your items at the lowest price you can live with or use reserves.
