I paid this seller 2/7 by Paypal.
And emailed her stating so.
Today I received an email that the item has been shipped. And please leave feedback.
This seller has 100+ items listed.
With items closing every day.
I politely emailed her asking why it took nearly 2 weeks to ship.
I wanted these items ASAP. For a customer of mine.
This was her reply.
HI-WHY ARE YOU SO MAD?
I WAS NOT NOTIFIED THAT YOU HAD PAID
I WAS GOING OVER MY ACCOUNT HISTORY AT PAY PAL AND NOTICED YESTERDAY THAT YOU HAD PAID
SO I PACKAGED YOUR ITEMS AND SENT THEM OUT TODAY
I AM SORRY FOR THE DELAY BUT SOMETIMES THE SELLER IS NOT NOTIFIED
EMAILS DONT ALWAYS GO THROUGH
(name with held for AW TOS)
Why is she yelling at me.
It is her fault.

Geez! You not only paid but you emailed her confirming that. At that point if I had not received the email from PayPal I would have just gone onto my account to verify that you paid, acknowledge the payment to you advising I was sending your package and it's on the way. Sounds like she might be a little jumpy. Not only that but she has no concept of customer service or common courtesy. She could have responded kindly to your question...

It is true sometimes PP misses sending me notices but they have never missed posting a payment. I appreciate it when a customer backs them up. I would not waste a neg on her because she will just not get it. She may neg you for a neutral too - I have seen it done. I just would not buy from her again.

She already left feedback for me so I'm not concerned about negging her.

Well, that's good atleast! Maybe she doesn't realize that she's being rude. I find more & more people that just don't happen to have many "people skills". Often they sound all freaked out when, in reality, they think they are just being normal.

Does PayPal give the seller the buyer's mailing address ... in the account history?

I would bet that this seller doesn't realize that using all caps is "yelling". And come on, everyone makes mistakes, missing stuff, and forgets. Wait until you get the item and base your feedback on that. Perhaps a neutral is in order, but I would keep it factual and not nasty. What is her other feedback like btw? That would give you a better idea of if she has trouble with her record keeping, or if this was truly a mistake.

About two weeks ago, I didn't receive about 15 payment notices from Paypal. Paypal didn't know if the problem was their mail server or my isp. As I sometimes get dozens of payments each day, I don't normally go thru my inbox and check off each payment and match it with the email notice. If it wasn't for a couple of customers asking if I'd received payment, I may not have noticed in time that I never got an email for that particular day. Mistakes happen. If in the end you are still not happy with the product or service, enter your feedback than. But I can definitely attest to the same thing happening to me.

Why do people wait for Paypal to email them? If you are selling something, it is your responsibility to check your paypal account regularly.
If you leave even a neutral for this witch, she will probably still leave a negative for you.
Reserve your negative feedback for deadbeat bidders and sellers who take your money and run.

It has happened to me as well, due mostly to the lovely email service on home.com, that I would miss emails containing payment info. Usually these have been from amazon, and I think I've missed one from Billpoint.
What really kills me is a couple of these had never even asked me about it. True story - one person had paid nearly 3 weeks prior, I did not receive the mail, did not ship the item, just happened to notice it when I was looking on amazon payments for something else. She had completely forgotten about it! (This was a ~$15 CD) So now I am sure to regularly check the list for any missed emails.
I agree with other posters that your seller must not realize she's SHOUTING at you, and that it's very likely a genuine mistake was made here that was beyond her control.

Joe B,
If you like the item just let it go. Don't pos, neg or neutral her. The "void" speaks for itself. Could very well be an honest mistake on PP's part or her's. Just don't buy from her in the future unless you want more screaming e-mails. Some people get into ebay without a clue as to how much follow-up (post sale) work there is.
Good Luck

Well, according to the initial post, you're thinking on leaving a neg or neautral just because the seller replied to you all in CAPS.
For all I know, you received the item, you asked her why so late, she apologized for the delay and gave you a reason (whether valid or not)
Leave a emotionless praise and get on with your life.

Do not neg or neutral this seller, like someone said before - save them for sellers who take your money and run. Maybe politely e-mail the seller and explain the situation. This seller could have made an honest mistake. Or not. But is it really worth the hassle?

AWWW, THE BIG BAD SELLER RESPONDED IN CAPITAL LETTERS. SELLERS LIKE THIS MUST BE STOPPED!!!! NOT ONLY SHOULD YOU NEG HER, YOU NEED TO REPORT HER TO EBAY IMMEDIATELY. JUST WHO DO THESE CAPITAL LETTER WRITING SELLERS THINK THEY ARE. ESPECIALLY THIS ONE WHO HAS THE NERVE TO ACTUALLY SEND YOU THE ITEM AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY. WE MUST RID EBAY OF ALL DESPICABLE CAPITAL LETTER WRITING SELLERS NOW!!!!

I AGREE WITH BROOKLYNGUY!!!!!
AFTER ALL SHE ONLY HAS 100 AUCTIONS LISTED, SURELY SHE CAN KEEP THAT TINY NUMBER STRAIGHT!
Me, I have trouble with 10-20 at a time. That's why I don't/won't ever be doing this for a living.
Heaven on Earth!

Just a note about email and the way it is sent to you..... When you click the send button the email program splits the message into packets. These packets individually bounce all around the globe before meeting up at the destination. For example part of the email will hang out a while in Pakistan, anthoer will sun itself In Ft. Lauderdale, another will and on and on and on. That is why some times an email won't reach it's destination for a few days even.
Sorry,I am a Computer Science Major and Ijust had to give every one that usless piece of information. =)

Glenda makes an excellent point. How did she get your address to ship the item?
If it was in the e-mail that you sent her notifying that you had just paid via PayPal, then the seller should have checked their PayPal account.

Sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes items don't get sent promptly.
Let me put it this way. I've waited over a month to get paid for auctions and left positive feedback.
Lighten up and show some compassion!

I often think about how Ebay is the only business where one must be 'perfect'.
Sellers are, after all, only human. If I was running a traditional type store, I wouldn't have comments posted all over my front door from past customers, both good and bad.
But I'm sure while running that traditional store I would have made a mistake or two during my time in business.
