There was a thread about this a while ago, but I didn't jump on the bandwagon soon enough. For what it's worth, here are mine:
Coming in at number one: iPIX! I think that's what it's called, anyway -- it appears to be some sort photo hosting thing, and it SUCKS, big time. I buy a lot of vintage clothing, and the tiny little photos provided by any seller using iPIX are utterly worthless. You can't see any detail at all. More and more sellers seem to be using it, too.
Number two with a bullet: sellers who end auctions early with no warning because they've struck a deal with another bidder. Doesn't this defeat the purpose of the auction format? If you just want to sell your item outright, why not use Buy It Now -- it's still free, isn't it? Recently, I had a high bid on an item only to have it cancelled, because the seller had already agreed to sell it to another bidder who had already met the reserve. I would have paid TWICE the reserve -- and I told the seller that later in an e-mail. Argh.
Number three: sellers with 0 feedback who say that they'll only accept a money order or cashier's check. Uh-huh. Right.

Totally agree with you about the iPIX. Very lame! They show no detail.
I have to disagree about a seller ending an auction early, even if it was something I was watching. It is their perogative to end it early if they get a fabulous deal--I mean, this is what its all about anyway, right? I am more than happy to end my auctions early if someone offers me a great deal! As far as the other buyers who "missed out" because they were waiting to snipe or had the auction on their watch list, I say "Too bad!"--if you wanted it bad enough, you should have made an offer before the first guy! And as far as placing a Buy it Now on the auction, I think that sometimes that can be a detriment (speaking as a seller) because it puts a "Cap" or limit on the price. Even though a Buy it Now price may not be listed, there is no reason as a buyer that one can't be agressive and go ahead and e-mail that seller with an offer if its something you really want!

Some seller's are ending auctions early because of eBay's site instability...they just can't risk letting it go into the final hours.

I'm sure this was on the first thread, but what the heck.
I just took a quick look at slide projectors for my DH. Now I know these things are heavy, but I don't have a clue exactly how heavy. Shipping charges on one that I looked at stated that buyer pays actual shipping plus anywhere from one to three dollars for handling.
That narrows it right down, doesn't it.
