I had several auctions end on Monday night (the 19th) while I was at my RL job. When I got home I found one person had already paypaled me. I shipped on the 20th, and this morning, the 22nd, we had left positive feedback for each other. All wrapped up nice and tidy in less than three days!
Oh, how I wish they could all be like this!

I love your post, a nice positive experience, a nice change from gripping and complaining. Thanks, you made my day, Meredith

Hear, hear! Yes, it's nice to hear good experiences. Especially when it comes to hearing "PayPal". I had a similar experience when my customer zapped the funds to me on the 17th, sent a pkg same day cross crountry to find out they received it on the 20th (after a Holiday!) and left me a glowing feedback. I was flabbergasted at the speed of USPS Priority.

Actually by coincidence this morning I woke up to a very pleasant surprise.
Two weeks ago I sold a lot of postcards to a buyer in the U.S., I'm in Canada, and they paid by Bidpay.
Last night they won another postcard auction of mine, and even before I could contact them, I had the Bidpay payment notice, and they even remembered to add the insurance themselves.
The payment notice came through less than 2 hours after the auction ended, and since Bidpay guarantees the payment, I have the go ahead to mail.

I just had someone BIN an item that was just listed 2 hrs ago, that I didn't think would sell [within 10 days] at my lower opening bid.

I only have 9 sales going right now. 6 are relists for the 3rd round. 5 have bids, 2 have multiples. Very good news for me.

I guess I have been lucky on the selling end! I have only had one person that didn't follow through...the rest have been awesome! Most of my buyers use paypal and so everyone that has, did it within no more than 2 hours after the auction ended! My post office is only 2 miles away, so I "visit" them daily...so far, my experience has been great!
buying has been another story, but I won't gripe here, this is a happy thread

That's Great!
I just received an email from a fellow in Belgium that purchased a Tiki God statue from me, and he told me that he received it today, placed it on his bamboo bar, and it began to snow outside! I am jealous, that darn Tiki never brought me that kind of luck, I have been praying for a good snow for months!!!!

We finally moved to Oklahoma a little over a year ago. We get lots of rain now (its raining at this moment), and some snow. Today he told me he is ready for winter to be over. Apparently he forgot that if you want snow, you pretty much have to have winter too. But it is really, really nice to see wet earth again!
