"I'm going to lock this thread. I suggest if you're having problems with eBay, you post your question on their message board, or contact their tech support.
Moderator"
Is this next?
I thought that AW had stopped being so silly about what was eBay related. If you use AAPro, Auction Tracker or AuctionAmigo as part of your eBay business these threads are eBAy-auction related and should not be locked.

I agree completely!!! Since when are threads discussing eBay related software or services locked? This board is going to be a ghost town if they lock every thread that doesn't talk about a specific auction... oh wait, you can't do that either. GIVE ME A BREAK.

I agree.
As a small time player, it is a pretty powerful resource to know what's what, especially with all the options out there.
Please reconsider the blanket "thread-locking."

Maybe the Moderator does not realize AAPro is a service of eBay provided through a compamy fully owned by eBay.
I believe it is as valid to discuss an AAPro problem as a search, EOA or other difficulty caused by an eBay provided service.
If not, I need some help in understanding what part of the eBay experience I can and can not discuss here.

Now I see we can't mention eBud. What's next, banning the mention of 'Brenda'?
Bill
Now you see it, now you don't!!!!!

Everyone,
I just spoke to Diana about the software thread. The discussion of the e-mail problems may continue provided they remain non-promotional.
Thank you for your patience.

Linda: Does that mean you will UN-lock the other 3 threads that were locked earlier? Because NONE of them were promotional.

Darn, my sense of fair play...
LindaAW: They are taking advantage of your newness (shame on you, Bill! ). It might want to lock this thread - Brenda is a taboo topic.

Everyone,
I'm not on duty right now, but I am responsible for the locking of three of the threads in question.
In the past, threads asking for assistance with other auction tools have been locked. Obviously, I made a mistake when I locked them today. I apologize for the misunderstanding. It's my understanding that the other threads concerning auction tools have been unlocked.
Please give Linda a break. She didn't make the decision, I did. If you need to vent, send me an email.
Again, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Irene, haven't seen you for a while. Glad to see I woke you up! Actually, I think that Brenda was a taboo topic.
Pat, I thought that I was picking on you!! Thanks for popping in, clarifying and reopening the threads.

...and as this thread has caused enough trouble, perhaps it could be locked.
Thanks

Sure thing, Bill. And the title almost qualifies for corrdogg's RT thread...
