Eveyone is saying conflicting views, but is this the bottom line:
Our image hosting service is still free. You can continue to keep your images in your account and use them when you create your auctions directly at the auction site.

If I may say, this is basically like having a car in the garage, versus USING IT. When you USE IT, it cost you. Same as Image Hosting. If you just HOST your pics, but do NOT use them in an AUCTION, they probably are free....I hope I won't have to live to eat my words...
