Isn't that the name of the ebay bulk loader? Any reason why it doesn't seem to come up as a realistic alternative to AmPro? I downloaded it at one time but as I recall, it was clunky in some way compared to goto.com which I started using instead, mostly due to their free listing promotion.

Yes, Mr Lister is ebays bulk loader. I had been using that quite awhile and had started using AW Pro only because I liked the templates and it WAS easier to have all the pics in the same place. I liked Mr. Lister and will go back to using that. Its a good alternative IMHO.

I use it and love it. I can set up over 50 auctions in less than 30 minutes using cut and paste. I tried AW, Andale, and a few others but I don't have the time or the patience to sit and watch graphics and banners load when I can be making money setting up auctions.

You can get info here: http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/mr.html
I have templates set up in a word processing program ... fill them in for 10 or so auctions and then cut and paste to ML's description window. The templates are designed for different kinds of articles, so the book one has a spot for publishing information, while the one for widgets has manufacturer and designer.
It's fast and effective and free.

I have a clipboard template that I paste in using ClipPlus. I then fill in the specifics. Works great. Mr. Lister is finally stable after some very buggy versions. The only caveat is to load your listings early, they can sit in a holding area at eBay for 24 hours before showing up as available. All depends on their processing loads.

EastWest, Mr. Lister doesn't provide a template. The picture goes at the bottom. You can use HTML to design your own ad, and put your pictures wherever you want. I often put the pictures in the ad, and then a small blank GIF file at the bottom so the PIC icon shows up in the listings.

That pretty much is the way I do it...I have all my descriptions on my notepad and I do a lot of cut and pasting. If I want my pic to be up in the description, I use html to put it there or if I have more than one. Usually I make up my "batches" ahead of time and then I upload them later at night when traffic is not so heavy. I see on the boards here that someone posted that they use vrane to schedule them up to two weeks in advance so that would be even better. I have been using Mr Lister since it became available and love it. The only reason I switched to AW is because I thought the templates were neat, especially the holidays but I will do my own I guess for that FVF price addition. .... Whats really nice is that you can edit your batches as something sells and just re upload the batch of ones that did not sell. Pam

The <img src=urlofimage.jpg or gif> IS the html. You put that in wherever you want the picture to be. So if you want it on the bottom, you do your description first, then put
<center>(if you want the picture centered)
<img src=urlofimage1.jpg><br>
<img src=urlofimage2.jpg><br>
</center>
Am I answering your question?

I hope you don't take this a being rude, because I assure you it is not meant as such. Rather than trying to find someone to teach you HTML on a messageboard, it might be to your benefit to search out one of the many HTML tutorials that are available on the web.

actually, it would be
<img src=http://www.urbanhouseimports.com/images/it010002.jpg>
The easiest thing is just to copy and paste the URL exactly as it appears in the address box. If you need more help with basic html, go to Boogie Jack's HTML Help Index at
http://www.boogiejack.com/htmlhelp.html
That's where I learned most of what I know about html!

If you're using Frontpage you don't have to use HTML at all. Just insert the picture wherever you want it.
