I've been working with Front Page (full version) and I have done some editing on myEbay page. As we know all sales have been down lately and fees on the increase. In order to draw in some more business, I've reworked myEbay page. I personaly, when I buy items, I am more likely to buy from someone when they have a nice looking myEbay page. So of the things that I did to the page really are not that hard - well worth the time put in comparison with increased sales. If anyone would like to get some tips on how do what I did feel free to email me. Also feel free to use mine as a template - yes go ahead and steal all my work, I don't mind, just make sure you put in your own info. Let me know what you think.
This link is for informative and demonstration purposes only. I'm posting the link so that I can help other users build a page like mine.

I also use the full version of FrontPage, I also use it often to create ads, it does a fantastic and original job.
Your "about me" is a nice lay out, but I do HIGHLY dislike the green.
In a psychological study of colors, studies have found that people most distrust those using or wearing green! Don't ask me why. So I do think you might rethink the green, as it seems on this board, many others also dislike the green.
I also redid my about me, since I hadn't updated it for a couple of years. I also run a counter on my "about me" page, and don't find that many people ever view it one way or the other.
AND, although I have been on eBay since 1996, I am basically only a seller, I haven't bought anything since 1998.
BUT yesterday it dawned on me that I might be able to pick up some good Christian videos for our Free Christian Video Rental Library, at a fair price on eBay. So yesterday for the first time in years I bid on some items. Reflecting back on what I did in checking out the seller, I realized, I checked their feedback, ask a few some questions, but I never checked their "about me" page. I don't think many others do either, if the results of my "about me page counter," is a reflection of how many go to such pages, then it seems the "about me," is basically useless.

I have an about me page.... nothin' fancy. Just some pictures from our vacations in Thailand and a sample of my most recent feedback along with my current sellers list.
I've had it up for about two years... but didn't think to place a counter on it until about 9 months ago during an About Me page update. Since that time, I've had over 1300 unique page view hits.
I think the About Me page helps to instill better trust in me for the buyer... as it puts a face with a name... seems to make my transactions more personalbe. Friendly.

Since the About Me pages are FREE... I certainly recommend creating one to buyers and sellers alike.

As a buyer, the only time I look at the about me page, is if there is no information about payment types accepted or no information about shipping in the main auction. I check the about me to see if the informaiton is there.
I don't like to have to go the the about me page to find this information. Once in a great while I will check to about me to see if there is a link to a online store for the seller.
